Woods east of Hemingray's factory should be investigated

A Chance for Our Board of Health to

do Some Good Work.

Without further delay, our Board of Health should investigate the woods just east of the Hemingray glass works. This is one of the foulest places around our city and the citizens in and about that neighborhood are making a big howl. The place mentioned is more of a thicket than a woods. Some people in our city are making a business of hauling filth of all kinds to the place and dumping it. Not less than twenty-five dead dogs may be found there and the stench arising from the same is terrible. Why is it thus? Who is to blame? Somebody should investigate.
