Morning News Library Fund Still

Growing.

LET OTHERS JOIN IN.

Help us Buy Books for the Boys and Girls,

and They Will Appreciate It.

The Morning News Library fund has been started and should now receive the encouragement of one and all.

The donations are coming right along, the children doing fairly well, but we would like to see more of them. And the parents. They should come forward and lend a hand.

The donations have continued to come in but not fast enough. Let there be not a single child that is a patron of the library, or citizen who is interested in it, that does not make a donation to the Morning News Library Fund.

Its object is to put in the public library five hundred books such as our young people will be attracted by and yet of a moral and educational character.

The city library now is badly in need of books for young readers. Let the donations, be they large or small, be handed to the City Librarian, or left at the Morning News office.

The Morning News will head the list with $5. Hand or send your donations to either the Librarian or this office and the receipt thereof will be acknowledged in these columns and the money placed to the proper credit. All monies should be put in an envelope enclosing the following slip:

The city officials have said that they had not the funds to replenish the public library, and it now rests with the people to join hands with the Morning News and build up this public institution so that everybody can point to the "children's department" with pride.

It is books for children that this fund will go entirely for.

During the coming week we would like to see the fund grow rapidly. Let the people drop their mite and help a good cause.
