Some years ago the Hemingray Glass Co. removed from Covington, Ky., to Muncie, Ind. Since then the business has grown amazingly, and is now in such a condition that a very substantial enlargement is absolutely necessary. With this idea in view the company proposes to leave, and the Covington people are making a desperate effort to induce them to return to that city, but such a move is regarded as highly improbable. The facts of the case are that the company is casting eyes toward Toledo, and, should everything prove to its satisfaction, it may move there. It gives employment to from 500 to 700 people, and would be a valuable acquisition to the manufacturing enterprises of the city. --Toledo Blade.
