Charleston (W. Va.) people, who control the Virginia Potteries Company, with a factory at New Lexington, Ohio, require additional facilities, and have selected a site of about six acres in South Charleston for the purpose of locating a large porcelain electric insulator plant, an industry hitherto unrepresented in Charleston. This new plant will take to Charleston about 500 people.
