VETERAN FLINT LAWMAKERS.

An Interesting Resume of Steady

Convention Goers.

Here is an interesting list of veteran flint convention goers that was compiled for me through the courtesy of Secretary John Kunzler and F. C. Dickens. Its object is to show how many of the delegates to Zanesville this year are steady convention goers, giving the previous conventions they have attended.

The only ones at Zanesville last week who were delegates to the first convention in 1878 were President W. J. Smith and the new vice president, Thomas Smart. Secretary John Kunzler and M. W. Conway were the only representatives at the second convention in 1899 on the floor at Zanesville last week Since 1879 President Smith and Secretary Kunzler have attended every convention, and Assistant Secretary Clare has attended every convention since 1884 excepting that in Steubenville in 1891.

For the rest of the 1898 delegates to get into the game we have to jump to 1888, and starting from that convention we find the following '98 delegates among the number year by year:
