FUNERAL RITES

OVER REMAINS

OF CAPITALIST

Body Was Laid to Rest in

Family Lot in Highland

Cemetery.

The last rites over the remains of Bradford Shinkle were held in Covington at a little after noon today. The services were very simple, in accordance with the wishes of the decedent. Regardless of his wealth, Mr. Shinkle requested that his funeral be very quite and this was done.

At 12:30 the funeral took place at the handsome residence, 165 East Second-st., Covington, and the remains were then taken to the Highland Cemetery for interment in the family lot. Rev. A. C. Davidson officiated at the services.

The Directors of the Protestant Children's Home last night held a meeting and appointed a committee to draw up resolutions on the death of Mr. Shinkle, who was President of the home. The committee is composed of S. D. Rouse, T. M. Porter, and T. Heineman. The Trustees attended the funeral today. The Directors of the Third National Bank, Cincinnati, held a meeting yesterday and passed resolutions on the death of Mr. Shinkle. They also attended the funeral in a body. The Directors of the First National Bank of Covington will meet tomorrow to adopt their resolutions.

Many citizens of Covington yesterday went to the Shinkle home and viewed the remains. Many large floral pieces were also sent by various institutions with which the decedent was connected.
