Dr. Jesse T. Littleton, 78, Corning Glass Works physicist and developer of Pyrex ware, dies in Fort Pierce, Fk.

Corning Glass Works announces its association with the Iwaki Glass Company of Japan, to manufacture and sell heat-resistant glassware, a joint venture with Asahi Glass Company and others.

April

Leroy A. Amylon, vice-president and assistant to the chairman of the board of Corning Gkss Works, dies at the age of 47.

June

Malcolm H. Hunt, vice-president and general manager of Corning Glass Works electronic products division, dies at age of 45.
