Muncie News Notes.

MUNCIE, IND., Nov. 2.      The third flint tank at Ball Bros. started last Wednesday and everything is running smoothly. Among the newcomers are James O'Neil and John Polk, of Moundsville, W. Va.; and Francis Curran, John Ellennalder, E. Wilcoxen, and Robert Brady.

Peter Cannon, a Hemingray presser, it is said, will soon join fortunes for life with a Covington, Ky., belle. Murray King will be Pete's adviser.

There are plenty of glassworkers lying idle here, and we advise all to keep away from Muncie just now.

Readers of this paper will find a very interesting reply from George W. Cromer, candidate for Congress, to Muncie Trades Council, and if this same plan was carried out and enforced all over America, the labor people would have some show of getting protection from some of the trusts that are crushing union labor every day.
