The Locke Insulator Mfg. Company, of Victor, N. Y., has issued supplement No. 2 of "The Insulator Book," in which are presented the latest practical developments in suspension insulators. In presenting these designs, the company states that it has drawn freely from the experience of operating engineers and transmission companies having in view the elimination of details tending toward the theoretical and special types in favor of more substantial and efficient designs.
