The Electric Porcelain Co., of East Liverpool, O., is about to erect a large addition to its porcelain works and its is probable that several new kilns will be put up at the same time.

The U. S. Electric Porcelain Co., of Findlay, O., is a new power in the electric porcelain business and has its plant almost ready for occupation. The plant is quite a large affair having a capacity of six kilns, and was formerly occupiied by The Bell Pottery Co. with which the new porcelain company is closely identified, the Bell people having moved to their new 12-kiln plant at Columbus, O.

The Lima Insulator Co., of Lima, N. Y., contemplates the erection of several new kilns.

The New Lexington High Voltage Porcelain Company, of New Lexington, O., has just completed two new kilns and expects to have another erected yet this winter. Additional machinery is also being placed in position.

The R. Thomas & Sons Co., of Lisbon, O., is improving somewhat, which improvements will be completed by the first of January.

The Imperial Porcelain Works, of Trenton, N. J., is improving its mechanical equipment to some extent.

The Akron China Co., of Akron, O., has just completed the erection of a new clay-making room with entire new equipment which makes the plant second to none in that department.

The large addition to the works of the Locke Insulator Manufacturing Co., located at Victor, N. Y., are partially completed. The company expects to have the rest of the buildings, which are all of concrete fireproof construction, completed within the next 60 days and in entire operation within the next 90 days at most, as all of the mechanical effects are being set while the buildings are still under way.
