Pottery News

The Akron High Potential Porcelain Co., Barberton, O., is increasing its capacity. High-tension insulators are manufactured.

The Lima Insulator Co., Lima, N. Y., is increasing the capacity of its factory by the installation of additional slip-house machinery.

The Electric Porcelain Co., East Liverpool, O., which was destroyed by fire some time ago, is being rebuilt as quickly as possible. Nearly all of the brickwork has been completed and the machinery is now being overhauled and put in good shape, and, barring accidents, the plant should be in shape to be started up in full within the next two or three weeks.

The large addition has just been completed at the factory of the R. Thomas & Sons Co., East Liverpool, O. Electrical porcelain is the product. The company is also building a plant for the manufacture of clay door knobs.
