John S. Lapp, secretary and treasurer of the Locke Insulator Manufacturing Company, came up from Victor, N. Y., to attend the exhibition. His company occupied a well-located booth near the entrance of the hall, and displayed a line of the well-known Victor insulators. The feature of this exhibit was the 100,000-volt insulator which was one of those made for the Stanislaus Electric Power Company, of California, for 150 miles of transmission, which will he the first 100,000-volt commercial transmission in the world.
