Alf. Meacham's Good Luck.

Alfred Meacham, the prominent member of L. U. 23 of Muncie, Ind., and one of the best known flint glass workers in the west, has been appointed revenue collector for Kentucky, with headquarters at Louisville. He will enter upon the duties of his new office in about a month. The office is a good one and the appointment gives general satisfaction in the flint trade. Mr. Meacham has always taken a prominent part in advancing the growth of unionism in the gas belt and has held national offices in the A. F. G. W. U. with great credit. He is one of the most active members of the general committee of Muncie flints who are arranging for the 22nd A. F. G. W. U. convention, at which he will represent his local.
