A delightful entertainment was giv­en yesterday afternoon, in honor of Miss Maude Neely, by Miss Bertha E. Smith, at her home on North Monroe street. The colors red and white were used in the decorations, and score cards. The house looked beautiful with rich red autumn leaves, the curtains and doorways being draped in an abundance of them. The score cards were white Cupid's darts and red hearts. The game of pedro was much enjoyed, and created much interest, as five him a right to the prize. Drawing cuts, one of the five, Miss Cora Emerson, was the fortunate lady, and was presented with a cast of a Cupid's head that in very pretty. The bride's favor was beautiful and a great surprise to Miss Neely when presented to her. It was a heart-shape picture frame, con­taining a fine picture of the groom. Light refreshments were served.
