The first of the dances to be given every Tuesday evening in the Heath block by Prof. Daisy, was quite a success, despite the inclemency of the weather. Piano and violin music was furnished, which was good, so that the dancing was enjoyed.
Among those present were: Messrs. and Mesdames W. M. Andrews, J. E. Durham, C. H. Anthony, J. J. Dow, —— Dow, J. R. Marsh, Mrs. W. E. Hitchcock, Misses Fannie Turner, Florence McNaughton, Josephine Gray, Sue Smith, Helen Hickman, Bessie Baughman, Miss Hemingray, Messrs. Karl Oesterle, Robert Walker, Frank Kimbrough, Frank Burt, Harry Parsons, Charles Grafton, P. R. Janney, and Mr. McNaughton.
