County Board Still Hard at Work,
Time Limit Having Expired.
Another List of Properties Which Had
Valuations Cut Down — No More
Kickers.
Yesterday was the final pay day for work to be done by the county board of tax equalizers and with ordinary work the session of the board would have concluded last night. The work has been extra heavy, made so by the necessity of cutting down the recent work of the assessors and it will be several days yet before the work is completed. Work done by the board after yesterday will be without pay except in the case of assessor Stewart.
Yesterday the board succeeded in making several appraisements there being the usual cut on most of them from the figures reported by the assessors. The kickers were few, and the last of these have been heard, the time limit having expired. The following list of valuations on realty were completed yesterday:
