SOCIAL DOINGS. Thursday evening Miss Llewellyn Hemingray, at the home of R. E. Walker, on East Washington street, entertained the Eleven club and friends. The evening was spent in progressive pedro, the prizes of the game being won by Miss Olcott, a cut-glass powder box with sterling silver top; Miss Ellis, a cut-glass vinaigrette; Mr. Wolfe, a sterling silver file, and John McNaughton, a sterling silver match box. After the game a delightful luncheon was served. There were two guests from a distance present, Miss Graham, of Madison, and Mr. Leonard, of Piqua, Ohio. The other guests were: Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Evans, Misses Cassady, Hickman Olcott, Reba Koons, Turner, Gill, Neely, Anthony, Winchester, McNaughton, Ellis, Kirby, Messrs. Harry Cates, Frank Gass, Thomas Ryan, Fred Georgia, C. E. Mavity, G. E. Wallace, Ed Darke, Harry Wolfe, Albert Richey, W. M. Myers, Arthur Cassady, John McNaughton and Walter McNaughton. |
