SOCIETY AFFAIR.
Delightful Dancing at the Pavilion
Last Night.
The most charming social function of the dancing season occurred last night at the pavilion at Westside park. The party was given under the management of Messrs. Karl Oesterle, Walter Brown and John McNaughton, well known society young men, who proved admirable hosts by their easy manner in making all happy. The opera house orchestra furnished music for seventeen couple, and a program of round dances was indulged in until midnight when a special train of street cars returned the party to the city. During the evening luncheon was at the disposal of the guests with Caterer Hummel in charge, coffee and sandwiches being served. Many compliments were passed on the new arrangements in the hall, the floor being in excellent condition. The company consisted of the following persons: Misses Ellis, Anthony, Sue Smith, Miss Ruddell from Dayton, Koons, Armstrong, Reb Koons, Winchester, Neely, Olcott, Turner, Gill, Hickman, Helen Smith, Cassiday, Hemingray and McNaughton. Messrs. Walker, Williams, W. McNaughton, Walter Brown, Ryan, Richey, Dark, Anthony, Gill, Dougall, Sprowl, Swain, Cassiday, Burnett, Georgia, John McNaughton and Karl Oesterle.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Evans, Mrs. Olcott, Mrs. Lon Neely and Mrs. Garner were chaperons [sic] chaperones of the party.
