GARDEN PARTY.
One of the Most Brilliant Events
of the Season Tonight.
The Affair Will Occur on the Spacious
High School Campus — For the
Soldier Boys.
On this evening will be enjoyed one of the most brilliant and festive garden parties ever given in Muncie. The High School lawn is fast being transformed into a veritable Eden. The Muncie Floral Company has generously offered to beautify the grounds with many palms and plants. Flags and lanterns will be hung and placed in every possible position, and the entire inclosure will be brilliant with electric lights. From a spacious stand erected over the north steps the Muncie Band will prove a source of delight, as it always does.
The Daughters of the American Revolution have been tireless in their efforts to make this occasion the brilliant success the cause merits, and the rest is left to the good people of Muncie to enjoy and patronize liberally. The success of this undertaking will depend upon the citizens of Muncie individually. The tables of refreshments are arranged in groups of five, and will be presided over as follows:

The entire receipts from the street cars between the hours of 9 and 11 o’clock tonight will be donated to the cause.
