It was decided that national banks be assessed 80 per rent, of their capital stock, surplus fund and individual profits. The board reduced the list of the Central Printing Company from $1,920 to $1,670. The personal assessment of Ida G. Rea was reduced from $6,655 to $5,155.
All building and loan companies appeared before the board with their attorneys and refused to give the information ordered by the board. There has been no decision as to what action will be taken to force the desired point.
