Kitchen Shower.
Miss Bessie Ellis delightfully entertained a party of ladies at a Kitchen Shower yesterday afternoon in honor of Miss May King's approaching wedding to Mr. George Bailey. Many useful articles for the kitchen were given, and showers of good wishes and happy thoughts expressed in the verses composed by each one with the utensil presented. Miss Ellis was assisted during the afternoon by a number of the young ladies and the party was a very successful one. The dining room was decorated in roses and presented a handsome appearance. The guests were: The Misses McNaughton, Kirby, Olcott, Hemingray, Heath, Eiler, Turner, King, Gill, Hickman, Winchester, Beard, Dailey, Koons, Bowers, Neely, Bailey, of Piqua, Ohio, Westlake and Mrs. H. S. Maddy, Mrs. Zint, Mrs. Armstead Klein.
