Muncie Wheel Company Will Begin a Big

Improvement Monday — Hemingrays

and Others Coming Later.


PROSPERITY continues to dawn on Muncie manufacturers and as a result some mammoth improvements are to be made all around in the near future.

The first of these to develop is with the Muncie Wheel company, which will this week begin the erection of a large addition on their property. Their intentions was to wait until spring to make the needed improvement, but the rush of business will not permit longer delay, and tomorrow morning work will be commenced on a three story brick building on the property. It will be 50x150 feet in dimensions and will be a model factory building throughout, and as nearly fire proof as possible to make it.

Messrs. Snyder and Hamilton have the contract for the brick work.

HEMINGRAY IMPROVEMENT.

The Hemingray Glass company make an announcement that shows up the re­port that this factory was to leave Muncie, in its true colors. The firm has contracted for the erection of two continuous tanks at their factory, and work will in commence on them with­in two weeks. This improvement will double the present capacity of the factory, and likewise the number of men employed. The Muncie Iron and Steel company, and others will be heard from likewise later on.
