Last night the members of the Delaware club gave a delightful card party and dance to their young lady friends in their club rooms at the Johnson. The hours were pleasantly spent and it was at a late hour that preparations were made for a most reluctant departure. Caterer Rhine Hummel served the refreshments, which in point of elegance and service, were par excellence. Those present were: Misses Bessie Ellis, Edith Love, Isabel Preston, Edith Kirby, Carrol Hemingray, Emily Olcott, Eva Winchester, Louise Anthony, Ida Clifford, Llewellyn Hemingray, Florence McNaughton, Fannie Turner, Grace Johnson and Miss Weaver of Dayton, O., and Miss Townley of Indianapolis; Mesdames J. R. Marsh, J. E. Johnson and Hal C. Kimbrough; Messrs. John Sprowl, V. E. Silverburg, P. R. Janney, John McNaughton, Robert Williams, Walter Brown, Jay Lee Turner, Robert Walker, Walt McNaughton, Walter Ryan, Will Myers, J. W. Baker, Ray Johnson, Robert W. Lytle, William DuVal Brown and Marcus Plowman of Dallas, Texas. The favors were won by Mr. John Sprowl and Miss Eva Winchester.
