Mrs. Robert Hemingray won favors at Afternoon Euchre Club party

QUITE a number of parties will be given during the holidays, and a number of young ladies will have guests. There will be balls galore and general activity all along the social line.

The Saturday Afternoon Euchre club members were entertained in a charm­ing manner yesterday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Meeks on East Washington street, Mrs. Meeks and Mrs. Bender being the hostesses of the occasion. The decorations were in pink, roses being in profusion on the walls. There were six tableaux. The favors were won by Mrs. Robert Hemingray, and Mrs. G. O. Cromwell for games and lone hands, respectively. China plates were given as the souvenirs. Dinner was served in three courses. It was arranged to have a banquet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Winans on East Adams street New Years eve., each lady member of the club inviting her husband to be present.
