After the Banquet.
After the bowling party had enjoyed their banquet at Hummell's hall last night, Messrs. Bob Hemingray, Will Gray and Joe Skinner kindly remembered The News staff and pleasantly surprised them with substantial lunch that was heartily enjoyed, with the editor's desk as an improvised table. Such favors are rare, but always appreciated, and those who "partook" wish to include Mr. Hummell in thanking the above mentioned gentlemen.
