Messrs, and Mesdames Arthur M. Meeks and C. L. Bender entertained informally last evening at the beautiful home of the former on East Washington street. About thirty were present, and the occasion was in honor Mrs. T. K. Heinsohn, who will soon leave for their new home. During the evening progressive euchre was enjoyed with other creations of social intercourse. The guests were: Messrs. and Mesdames T. K. Heinsohn, W. L. Little, C. F. W. Neely, C. H. Anthony, J. M. Kirby, A. J. Williams, C. T. Dages, J. M. Gray, C. A. Spilker, J. E. Haffner, R. C. Hemingray and Misses Sarah Heinsohn and Josephine Gray, and the Messrs. Edward Ball, P. R. Janney and Mr. Valentine of Chicago. John M. Kirby won the lone hand fav­ors. Mrs. Hemingray the most games for the ladies and Mr. Gray the most games for the gentlemen.
