BEAUTIFUL EVENT.

Miss Ellis Gives a Linen Shower for

the Johnson-Smith Wedding.

The members of the Eleven club were delightfully entertained yesterday afternoon by Miss Bessie Ellis at her home on West Adams street.

The occasion was a linen shower party for the bride-elect, Miss Winifred Smith, who was the guest of honor. The decorations were yellow, with pink colors in the dining room, the refreshments being in keeping with this color.

Miss Carrol Hemingray, palmist, told fortunes, and Photographer Durham took a picture of the party which was composed as follows: Ladies — Mesdames H. S. Maddy, H. C. Kimbrough, Edward Galiher, Miss Thompson of Edinburg, Misses Maude Neely, Louise Anthony, Emily Olcott, Fannie Turner, Miss Hemingray, Florence McNaughton, Clara and Ohle Gill, Helen Hickman, Vida Cassady and Caroline Hemingray. It was a charming event, planned in keeping with the gorgeous wedding it paid tribute to.
