THE TRADES COUNCIL.

 

The central body of Muncie's trades unions is called the Trades Council. It was organized in 1892. It includes practically all the locals in the city, and is composed of three delegates from each local represented. It meets every two weeks at Union Labor hall, on Walnut street, for the transaction of business and the discussion of ways and means of advancing the interests of la­bor.
