Shamrocks Won In Matthews and a Tie

The Shamrock baseball team won a good game from the Matthews club at Matthews Sunday, and as it was the first game the local team has lost at home in two years, the Muncie boys are jubilant over the victory. The score was as follows:

Matthews..............2 0 0 2 1 0 0 0 0 0 — 5

The bakers' team and the club from the Hemingray glass works played a close game Sunday, the score being a tie, 3 to 3, when the rain stopped the game in the twelfth inning.

The game at Westside park did not occur because the Globes did not appear.
