A CHARMING RECEPTION
Miss Chillah Baker Entertains in
Honor of Her Birthday.
Miss Chillah F. Baker was the charming hostess at a delightful reception given last evening at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Baker, 202 East Adams street. It was the 14th birthday anniversary of the young hostess and in honor of this event, a large number of her young friends were invited to assist her in making in memorable one. Miss Chillah was assisted in receiving by Miss Rema Koons and Mrs. West, tha latter being from Springfield, Ohio.
The hospitable home was turned over to the young people and for several hours happiness reigned supreme, no thought being given to fleeting time until the midnight hour brought its warning of the dawn of a new day and the guests soon departed. The joys of the evening ware at an end, but long will linger in the memories of those present the pleasures of the occasion which marked such a notable event in the life of the young hostess.
Miss Chillah was the recipient of innumerable beautiful presents and will have much to remind her of the evening of her 14th birthday anniversary. Punch, ice cream, cake and sugared candy fruit were served as refreshments.
