Muncie Gas Shortage.

MUNCIE, IND., March 17. - Gill Bros.' pot factory, Overs' window factory, the Charles Boldt glass factory, and the Hemingray glass factory are all idle today, owing to a want of sufficient gas to heat their furnaces. The gas commenced to weaken yesterday afternoon, and last night there was scarcely enough to keep the tanks hot. At no previous time this winter has the scarcity of gas been so marked. The pressure has been decreasing steadily all winter, and if severe weather continues a shutdown of all the factories will be a necessity.
