Miss Swain Entertains.

Yesterday afternoon Miss Cora Emerson received in honor of her friends, Miss Mabel McWhitney of Marion and Miss Nellie Fudge of Butte City, Mon. She was assisted by Misses Emily and Magdaline Turner, who served refreshments during the afternoon. The following young ladies were present:

Mesdames Walter Andrews and Park Sample, Misses Jean Swain, Eva Winchester, Nettie Gass, Reba Richey, Vida Cassady, Grace Dayman, Lillie Mitchell, May and Edith King, Maude Brownell, Erna Eiler, Edith Kirby, Winifred Smith, Maude Neely, Emily Olcott, Fan­nie Turner, Lewellen [sic] Llewellyn and Carrol [sic] Carroll Hemingray, Carrie Andrews, Ella Lockwood, Mary Fowler, Louise Maddy, Sarah Kirby, Sallie Hathaway, Hudie South, Nettie and Marian Wood, Emma Cropper, Helen Smith, Linnie Coffeen, Flor­ence McNaughton, the Misses Dailey, and Msss Pauline Keller of Wabash.

In the evening a dancing and card party was given with the following present: Misses Fannie Turner, Emily Olcott, Maude Neely, Edith Kirby; Messrs. Ryan, Richey, Cassady, Cates, O'Hara and Gass.
