A BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY.

An Advertising Party Given in Honor

of Miss Caroll Hemingray.

Miss Fannie Turner, yesterday afternoon, entertained 18 young ladies in honor of Miss Carol Hemingray, and also celebrated her 18th birthday. Twenty-three of the beautiful advertisements shown in the popular monthly magazines were pinned on the trees and porch and the young ladies were given slips upon which to guess what business the pictures represented as an advertisement. Miss Caroll Hemingray was the successful guesser and won the first prize, a silver mounted lead pencil. The second prize, a bunch of carnations, was won by Miss Nadine Wilson. Ices were served after the contest. The following ladies were present: Misses Caroll Hemingray, Nadine Wilson, Hattie Johnson, Reba Richey, Grace Gayman and friend, Miss Helbie, Veda Cassady, Helen Hickman, Helen Smith, Bertha Smith, Clara Koons, Reba Koons, Louise Schrader of Indianapolis, Fannie Shipley, Carrie Andrews and Mesdames Nellie Andrews and Blanche Sheffield.
