RIVERSIDE PARTY
Miss Reba Koons Entertains at Her
Parents Lovely Home.
Last evening at her elegant home on Riverside Miss Reba Koons delightfully entertained a large company of her friends.
The yard was decorated with Japanese lanterns and presented a very lovely appearance. Several cozy hammocks were placed in the yard, for the use of the guests.
Punch was served during the whole evening for the refreshment of the visitors.
Dancing and cards formed the principle amusements of the event. The dance programs were very unique, being cut in the shape of large firecrackers with three small firecrackers attached. Miss Clara Koons played for the dancers and Misses Etna Hurrle and Clara Koons gave several very nice vocal selections.
During the evening a great many fire crackers were set off to the great astonishment of some people. At a late hour the guests departed, all having enjoyed one of the most pleasant social events of the year.
Those present were: Misses Fannie Turner, Etna Hurrle, Edna Harrington of Chicago, Edna Boyce, Agnes Howe, Grace Johnson, Reba Koons, Hudie Smith and Clara Koons. Messrs. J. Lee Turner, Frank Todd of Bluffton, Ray Johsnon, Robert Hemingray, Walter Brown, Walter Baker, Max Bishop, Garth Martin, Albert Martin, Earl Boyce, Blanchard Horne of Anderson, Carl Oesterle, Walter Howe, Lloyd Kimbrough, Frank Kimbrough, Xenia Smith, Delbert Galliher and Will Thompson.
