PROGRESSIVE EUCHRE Mrs. Carl A. Spilker Entertained Lady Friends Yesterday. Mrs. C. A. Spilker was the hostess for a party of about 30 lady friends at her lovely home on East Adams street yesterday at 2 o'clock. It was a progressive euchre party and all most thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. Ices, cakes and nuts were served during the afternoon. Mrs. Edward Haffner won the first prize — a hand decorated china plate. For the most lone hands Mrs. L. A. Franklin was awarded a dainty china bon bon dish. The party consisted of mesdames: C. A. Kitts, T. F. Rose, A. E. Whitney, J. E. Haffner, E. J. Whiteley, R. J. Beatty, J. R. Marsh, S. C. Goshorn, Eugene Vatet, E. W. Bishop, J. W. Perkins, James Smith, C. O. Neely, R. S. Gregory, Thomas Morgan, G. T. Collins, Robert Hemingray, Al Wright, H. C. Klein, G. M. Bard, Mattie James, Ned Howe, George Ball, F. C. Ball, L. Ball, L. A. Franklin, C. A. Franklin, A. L. Harriott, J. V. Gilbert, F. W. Heath, George Jennings, J. S. Martin, C. F. W. Neely, and Mrs. Gallihue of Indianapolis and Miss Jeannette Love. |
