Insurance Companies After

the L. E. & W.

Suit was filed in the Delaware County Circuit Court yesterday by C.H. Over and thenty-one [sic] twenty-one insurance companies against the Lake Erie & Western Railway Co., for damages to the amount of $71,225.96. The action is the outcome of the fire June 18th, 1892, whereby the glass plants of Over Window Glass Works and the Hemingrey [sic] Hemingray Glass Co., were entirely destroyed by fire, the result, so it is alleged in the complaint, of sparks from a L.E. & W. switching engine. Attornies Bates & Harding and Thompson of this city will represent the blaintiffs [sic] plaintiffs.
