NEW FIRE BOXES.

Our City Now Has a Complete System.

Two more new fire boxes have been ordered by manufacturers. J. E. Smith & Co. will have a box in front of their factory, it will be No. . . . [illegible text] . . .. The Hemingray’s and Over’s have jointly purchased a box to go in front of their factories which will be No. 64.

With these two new boxes, and others already ordered and which will be placed in position as soon as they can be manufactured, Muncie will have 31 boxes in use, more than three times as many as they have at Anderson, and it is very probably that others will be put on the line by manufacturers within a very few weeks. This makes the fire alarm system better than any in use any city of twice the size in the state.
