COUNCIL MEETING. — The Committee on Wharves reported that the city was not entitled to the amount of wharfage ($250) claimed from Hemingray's glass-works. They also reported that the claim ($175) for wharfage due by the Louisville Mailboat Company had been paid by them to Mr. Uriah Shinkle, and the committee was instructed to confer about it with the Company, and was authorized to bring suit if neccessary.
