The funeral of Mr. Patrick Gallagher too place yesterday from St. Mary's Cathedral, and was attended by a large concourse of relatives and sympathizing friends. The elegant casket containing the remains was strewn with floral offerings, including a handsome broken column, cross, bouquets, wreaths, harps and pillows. On the lid of the coffin was a silver plate, bearing the name of the deceased and the time of birth and death. The employes of Hemingray's Glass-works attended the funeral in a body, and the following companions of the deceased acted as pall-bearers: Messrs. Michael McBreen, John Mullins, John Butler, William Leahy, James Hughes and P. Wilson. Rev. Father Gorey preached an eloquent funeral discourse, paying a touching tribute to the deceased, and his remains were placed in the vault at St. Mary's Cemetery.
