A Possible Acquisition.

Mr. Daniel Hemingray, of the Hemingray Glass Company, of Covington, Ky., is in the city on his way home from an Eastern trip. Mr. Hemingray states that it is possible his works will be removed to the city if the well which they are now sinking for gas proves a success. It is now down about 2,000 feet. He says that his firm is compelled to use Pittsburgh coal and cannot successfully compete with the manufacturers of this city who use the natural gas. His works employ about 400 men.
