                                                                                    CAIRO, March 4, 1868.

To the Editors of the Enquirer:

Shamrock left St. Louis on the morning of the 3d. Have 60 toms freight for different points below Cincinnati. For Cincinnati — R. Macready, 50 boxes cordial; J. S. Burdsal, 50 boxes cordial and 8 boxes liniment; F. E. Suire, 50 boxes cordial and 8 boxes liniment; Hick Lodwick, 4 boxes mdse; R. Hemmingray [sic] Hemingray, 50 brls. white sand; Frederick Dallas, 25 brls. white sand; Gaylord & Son, 100 tons pig iron. For Sunfish, Wheeling and Pittsburg — 35 bales dry hides, 67 green do., 103 dry do.
