BATCH OF BURGLARIES. -- The burglars swooped down on the north-eastern section yesterday morning, visiting the residences of Mr. Robert Hemingray, 219 Garrard street, Mrs. Thomas, on Garrard street, Mrs. James C. Gedge, 53 East Front, and Rev. Geo. F. Bugbee, 61 East Front street.

At Hemingray's they captured Mr. Dan Hemingray's gold watch and a small sum of money from that young gentleman. A maid servant prevented further depredations.

At the other places no plunder was procured, the inmates being made aware of the burglars' presence in time.
