A Pleasant Wedding.

One of the most pleasant weddings of the season was celebrated last evening at the hospitable home of Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Richardson. The groom, Mr. John Dreffer, jun., a prominent young business man, and Miss Mary, the highly accomplished and attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Colonel Isaiah Richardson. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. H. Felix in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The ceremony took place in the parlor, which was appropriately decorated in flowers and plants, and, together with the fashion­ably dressed guests, presented a very enchanting appearance. The bride was dressed in a dress of cream colored silk trimmed in Oriental lace, and wore diamond ornaments, the gift of the groom. The attendants ware Ralph, Susie, Isaiah and Nettie Richardson, brothers and sisters of the bride. After receiving the congratulations of those present, the guests were invited to partake of a most sumptuous repast, set by Julius Bertsch, of Newport. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Harbick, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schusler, Mr. and Mrs. Dreffer, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Chesline, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. M. Grubbs, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ashworth. Miss Charlotte Fagin, Miss Anna Droller, Miss Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Blewitt, Colonel James Orr, Mr. Ralph Hemingray, P. Dreffer, Mrs. Dave Richardson and many others. Among the presents were the following: Set of silver spoons and knives and forks, J. P. Harbick and wife; glass set, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Hemingray; silver knives and forks and butter disk, Ida Richardson; silver butter dish, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jenkins; china set, Mr. and Mrs. Reed; butter disk, Miss Charlotte Fagin; china set, Captain Evans; fruit dish, J. P. Hallman; cologne set, Anna and Mary Jenkins; toilet set, Miss Fitzpatrick; pickle castor, J. Schweikert; elegant parlor lamp, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Chesline; stove, P. Dreffer; china dinner set, John Dreffer; pickle caster, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Stewart, and many others too numerous to mention. Mr. and Mrs. Dreffer leave to-day on a bridal tour East.
