VICIOUS SHOOTING. — John Allen, of West Covington, a blower at the Hemingray Glass-works, had his war-paint on yesterday afternoon, and conducted himself vigorously otherwise as a most accomplished savage. Wending his way down Second street toward his home, he encountered a crowd harmlessly standing near the Willow Run Distillery, and fired at Herman Meyers, late Letter-carrier, the shot taking effect in his hip. Allen then fired again at Meyers, but missed, and the latter wisely took to a retreat. Allen next turned his delicate attentions to Dick Kelly, of West Covington, and shot him in the hand, then fired into the air, and then went off himself down the road.
