Miss Annie Hemingray was at one time well known to the society people of Leavenworth. She frequently visited the home of her uncle Judge J. C. Hemingray, of this city. She afterwards married Captain Bradford Shinkle, of Covington, Kentucky. Her many old friends will be pained to learn that she died at her home on the first of October of paralysis. She was esteemed for piquancy, sweetness and personal charms.
