It has been decided to organize a Possum Club in Muncie. Ralph Hemingray and Chas. Garst have the preliminaries in hand, The object is to foster the perpetuation of the opossum family. The legislature will be appealed to for the enactment of such laws as the Club deems necessary to protect, propigate and improve the stock of o’possums in this State. Many gentlemen who favor the move are of the opinion that opossums can be brought up to a high standard of flavor is well as to tip the beam at 100 pounds.
