Funeral of Noah Bird
The funeral of Noah Bird, a pioneer glassworker, took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence, and was largely attended. His having been connected with the Hemingray Glass Company of this city for a period of 35 years was the means of bringing many of the employes of that firm from Muncie, Ind., to attend the obsequies.
The floral tributes were many. Rev. Geo. A. Miller officiated. Internment was in Highland Cemetery. The pallbearers, all from Muncie, Ind., were Messrs. John Butler, Thomas Murray, George Taylor, Peter Cannon, Michael Carey and Thomas Carroll.
