LODGE HOME
CONTEMPLATED
Local Order of Elks is
Figuring on Erecting a Fine
Building.
COMMITTEE NAMED
Negotiations Have Been Opened
With James Boyce for a Site on
East Main Street Near the
Commercial Club.
Muncie Lodge of Elks, No. 95 has appointed a committee to open negotiations for a new lodge home, and is considering the idea of erecting a building of its own. James Boyce has been asked a price upon the forty feet of ground that lies immediately west of the Robert Scott building on East Main street and immediately east of the site of the new Commercial club building. The committee that has been appointed to look after the matter is composed of John G. Greisheimer, Ralph Hemingray and A. K. Smith. Members of the order say that if the lodge erects a building on the Boyce site the structure will compare favorably with the promised new Boyce building and the new Commercial club building. It is probable that the lodge will issue stock.
