A CITY LEAGUE IS NOW ASSURED The meeting1 of players who wish to enter a city league next season was called for last night, at the Rustle, and an attendance of 25 showed the interest felt in the movement. General places were discussed. The Hemingray Glass company and Kitselman Brothers' factories will he represented. Yorktown also applied for admission with a team and it is thought the Anchor silver works will come in. It is the desire of the promoter that all who wish to enter the league leave their names with Sherman Crolley. |
