THE MATINEE DANCE.

An enjoyable dancing party was given in Prof. Leyman's dancing acad­emy Saturday afternoon from 2 until 6 o'clock. The guests were the High school students and their friends. Mr. Percy Heighten furnished the music for the dance program which was filled with two-steps and waltzes. Among those present were: Mesdames Orr, Hopkins, Humphreys, Addy, Whitney, Misses Helen Conklin, Sue Hemingray, Small, Bessie Carroll, of Hartford City; Bessie Bramwell, Edna Heckehauer, Flossie Davis, Edna Teverbaugh, Edna Clark, Anne Evans, Charlotte Hopkins, Elsie Humphreys, Ma­ble Illingsworth, Ethel Knapp, Archie Kilgore, Mayme Murray, Agnes Monroe, Mary Moore, Edna Murray, Mar­garet Orr, Nell Perkins, Hazel Sherritt, Ethel Starr, Glenna Tizzard, Sarah Wysor, Ruth Winters, Blanche Winters, Messrs. Roy Colleen, Harry Hartley, French Jolliff, Fred Lesh, Roscoe Koerner, Lee Kingsbury, Rob­ert Burt, Elliott Baylies, Everett Boor, Max Thompson, Clyde Gayman, Edgar Haymond, Rex Kelley, Wysor Marsh, Ray Meeker, Frank Meeker, Robert Knowlton, Fred Preston, Frank Penny, Fred Ritter, Leonard Shick, Harrold Sherritt, James Templer, Will Wilson, Ralph Winters, Edward Slinger, John Banta, David Craig, Shields Craig, Milton Thomas and Lester Janney. On Washington’s birthday a matinee dance will be given for the High school students and their friends. The affair will be under the direction of Prof. Leyman. Special features of the dance will be the cotillions which will be led by High school students.
